Photohunter: Music

The theme for Photohunter this week is music. How appropriate! What can i say? Music is my life! I love it and i make a living out of it! I took a performance diploma level exam and i used to be the principle clarinettist in my university orchestra.

From there, i took up the saxophone on my own and i had much more fun. Now that i graduated already, i'm still tutoring part time in the orchestra. Pays quite well and i'm really enjoying myself.

Though i'm classically trained, i love a diverse trend of music. And i'd like to introduce you to Bjork; one of my all time favourite singer! For those of you who doesn't know her yet, she's one hell of an eccentric singer with really weird out-of-this-world tastes. All her album covers and video clips are really one of a kind.

See what i mean? Heh heh....and here is my favourite song of hers.

And this is my favourite video clip of hers.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. I can't believe you haven't heard of folk music. Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan. Wow. Your photos were excellent.

I've never been much of a fan of Bjork but she certainly has her own unique style.

That clarinet pic is really great. I like the black and white.

Not a big fan of Bjork but I admired her creativity in her album covers and in her music.

Great choices for Photohunt!

Er...your title says: Happy. OTOH, yup, your comments and photos are very musicky alright! As for Bjork: I don't think anyone who ever saw her Academy Award appearance -- in that swan dress -- some years back will ever forget it... ;b

What a wonderful post for the music theme. I loved all the photographs and hearing about your musical background.

I'm so glad to hear that you are making good money. The stereotype is the poor musician (especially classical musicians) and yet the music is so important to all of us.

Your singer's voice reminds me of an American singer from the past and I can't remember who!

She is weirder than weird, but boy - she's so talented!
I love your pic; it's beautiful!
